Aids Life/Cycle is a wonderful place for community and camaraderie.
Cyclists from around the world journey 545 miles from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise money for Los Angeles LGBT Center and San Francisco AIDS Foundation. A few even climb the “quad buster” (the notorious 1.3 mile continuous climb) multiple times to raise additional funds.
It’s a place to laugh, cry and push the limits we sometimes set for ourselves. Tremendous preparation goes into this event! Gathering the right gear along with hours of training (or not). It’s important to protect your investment when it comes to safe traveling and emergencies on the road.
“Not gonna lie…today was not easy. At All. And I did not do every mile – but that’s ok. I know that every mile I did was what I was meant to do.” – Haley Woods, Founder and CEO | Girls LOVE Travel

It’s extremely important to prepare and understand all of your protection options. This awareness creates a special internal dialogue and relationship with those around you as you release fear of the unknown. Wherever you are in the world, wherever you’re going, remember to look into your safety options so you may fully immerse yourself in the power of community when you’re traveling.
